Key Responsibilities:
Proactively search for and identify relevant projects on Upwork that align with the company’s expertise and services.
Write customized and persuasive proposals tailored to client requirements, showcasing our skills and capabilities.
Manage and maintain the company’s Upwork profile, ensuring it is up-to-date, professional, and attractive to potential clients.
Build and nurture relationships with clients through effective communication and follow-ups.
Understand client requirements, negotiate project terms, and close deals successfully.
Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary information or resources to craft proposals and manage client expectations.
Meet or exceed monthly targets for project acquisition.
Stay updated on industry trends and Upwork’s best practices to improve proposal quality and success rate.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Upwork Bidder or in a similar role in freelancing platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong understanding of Upwork’s bidding process and platform guidelines.
Ability to analyze project requirements and prepare customized proposals.
Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills.
Basic understanding of various industries and technologies to identify suitable projects.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a similar freelancing or business development role.
Familiarity with other freelancing platforms like Fiverr, Freelancer, etc.
Background in IT, marketing, design, or related fields to understand technical project scopes.
Proven track record of securing projects on Upwork
